TITLES DESIGN
GRAPHIC ART DIRECTION IN POST-PRODUCTION
During the post-production of “Disco Ibiza Locomia” film, directed by Kike Maíllo, I art directed the titles, credits and some animations done over the film footage.

We decided to use an arty graphic approach, with a punk and new wave touch (that reminds of the main character of the film), applying bold strokes and acid colors on photocopied images.

I invite you to watch the making of that you will find below: although we used some digital tools, the crafting of these graphics involved an extremely artisanal process (cut out paper letters, handmade textures, frame by frame painting...).
